WDB Fundraising Gala Dinner

WDB held a fundraising gala dinner to celebrate 10 years of the Trust and WDBIH in operation. The dinner was an opportunity to expose WDB to a larger market and potential investors. The funds raised from this dinner helped the developmental programmes with its expansionary phase that requires operational capital of R20 million for the next 3-4 years.

Contributions for the operational capital have assisted WDB’s developmental programmes in many ways:
• Extending WDB's reach and impact
• Increasing branch operation capacity
• Training and development for our Development Assistants, mentors, regional branch managers
• Supporting our computer literacy programme and client centres
