Our Book
The WDB book, “Velvet Gloves and Iron Fists” which was launched at the 10 Year anniversary dinner in October 2007, reviews the past year – where WDB began, our achievements thus and what we hope to do in the future. The book also contains the stories of the women who have been empowered by WDB and how this has changed their lives, it is therefore a tribute to these women, their determination and courage.
