BP Southern Africa (BPSA) Enterprise Development Strategy

2008 was the year of fine-tuning and realigning the BPSA Enterprise Development strategy that WDB consulting services and the Mineworkers Investment Company (MIC) had developed the previous year. The team had the mandate in 2007 to develop a holistic Enterprise Development strategy and draft an implementation plan. At the beginning of 2008, however, BP plc underwent a global restructuring exercise and the WDB-led team was on hand to align the Enterprise Development strategy to the new BPSA structure.

In addition, the team had strategic input into the procurement and CSI strategies thereby assisting BPSA in achieving its overall transformation objectives.

Other clients in this area include City of Joburg, Bidvest, Discovery and Uthingo.
